Integrating your Salesforce account with Factori platform for data enrichment

What is Salesforce?

Salesforce is a popular CRM tool for support, sales, and marketing teams worldwide. Salesforce services allow businesses to use cloud technology to better connect with partners, customers, and potential customers.

Steps to integrate Salesforce with Factori

  • Click on add integration on the Factori platform
  • Under the CRM section you will be able to view a tile for Salesforce, click on it.
  • You'll need to select which Salesforce environment you would like to connect - Production or Sandbox
  • Click on next and you will be redirected to your Salesforce login page where you can provide your username and password to connect Salesforce with Factori
  • You can then input the Data Source name for the integration
  • Select the frequency with which you would like your Salesforce data to be enriched
    • Monthly - Your Salesforce data will be enriched on the 1st of each month
    • Quarterly - Your Salesforce data will be enriched on the 1st of each quarter
    • Custom - You can specify the date on which the Salesforce data needs to be enriched.
  • You can choose if you want to enrich your Leads or Contacts from Salesforce
  • Use the mapping table to map your Salesforce attributes with Factori attributes for enrichment
  • You must choose a priority level for Emails and Phone Numbers so that Factori can choose to enrich using the field with the highest priority i.e; 0 being the Highest Priority. If Factori fails to find a record that does not match with the first priority attribute it will automatically pick the second priority attribute for enrichment.
  • By Default, Factori enriches your Salesforce Lead or Contact's missing values. If overwrite is selected then all fields except Email and Phone Number will be overwritten with Factori attributes
  • After the mapping is complete, clicking on Finish will save the integration and trigger an enrichment on the selected frequency and date selected. Please note the enrichment is done once after the creation of the integration and once on the date selected.

Note: Each record enriched will deduct 1 credit.
